Government buses should feature GPS speaker systems at every stop, like commuter trains, in a way that is effective for citizens.

                                                                          

           From next week onwards, chennai metropolitan transport corporation (mtc) buses will implement GPS by working the speaker system, allowing passengers to decide where they want to go.

This speaker system will indicate the preceding bus stop from 300m away, letting passersby know about the upcoming stop.

This is very useful for uneducated people and elders to know where to stop. The speaker system will be available in both English and Tamil. This type of system is also used in the local trains and metro trains in Chennai.

However, this time, the metropolitan transportation corporation will attach a GPS tracker facility to the negotiation with the government. Chennai MTC already has a monitoring camera, and an emergency exit has been added recently. People are expecting to travel by bus with speaker experience after hearing this news.
